Hive Clips AI (“Hive”, “we”) makes a Windows app that turns long videos into short clips. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we never do.

Your videos stay on your PC

Hive downloads, cuts, reframes, captions and renders your videos on your own computer. Your video files are never uploaded to us.

What Hive Cloud AI receives

To find the best moments, Hive sends the transcript text of your video to Hive Cloud, which passes it to our AI provider and returns the moments it found. We use it only to answer that request. We keep a count of how much AI you used each month so your plan's hours work, not the text itself.

Licence and account data

• Your email and licence key, so you can use the plan you paid for.
• A random ID and the name of each PC you activate, so a key can't be shared without limit.
• When the app last checked in, so we know your licence is active.

This website

The website doesn't use advertising cookies or trackers. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security.

What we never do

• Sell your data.
• Use your videos or transcripts to train AI models.
• Share your data except with the services needed to run Hive (hosting, AI provider, payments).

Your choices

You can ask us to see or delete the data linked to your licence at any time by emailing support@hiveclips.pro.
